About the Speaker
With more than 25 years of experience in the fleet industry, Tom Armstrong knows what it takes to operate corporate vehicles safely and efficiently, all while increasing productivity and the bottom line. Mr. Armstrong has served as the Director of Fleet for thyssenkrupp Elevator for the last 17 years where he currently oversees more than 3,500 vehicles, including light-duty vans, pickup trucks, medium-duty vehicles and conventional automobiles. While at thyssenkrupp Elevator he has worked hard to increase ROI, adopt sustainable practices and build on a culture of “safety first.” Prior to his hiring at thyssenkrupp Elevator, Mr. Armstrong owned and operated a freight company based in Florida and served six years in the United States Air Force.
