MULTI-EMPLOYER WORKSITES

WORKPLACE SAFETY

Course Description

When multiple employers, such as contractors and subcontractors, are working on a jobsite at the same time, this creates, what OSHA calls, a multi-employer worksite. In the event of an incident, OSHA must determine who is responsible for safety and health violations. This course explains the method OSHA uses to determine responsibility, defines the 4 types of employers OSHA can cite for violating OSHA standards, and explains how to monitor and evaluate the safety performance of your employees while on the job.
