Silica is found in a variety of materials and released during some of the most routine construction, general industry, and maritime activities. It poses a health hazard to workers in these fields and can lead to debilitating and even fatal conditions. This training is designed for the millions of workers potentially exposed to silica every working day and describes methods workers and employers can use to reduce the risk of exposure to silica.
